I’m Zach, and Ive lost 240lbs over the past 5 years. When I was 19 years old, 463lbs and diagnosed with hypertension.
I knew then that I needed to make a change if I wanted to live a long, healthy and happy life.
I started my journey by counting my calories and going to the gym 2-3 times a week to do about 10 minutes of cardio on the stationary bike.
My workouts now are longer and more frequent but I still monitor my caloric intake, I feel that is ESSENTIAL for losing weight and keeping it off.
I want to help inspire other people who have hundreds of pounds to lose that they can also achieve what I have.
Part of loving yourself and your body is taking care of it, I am so glad I decided to stop neglecting my body and start loving it instead.
Starting tip: Don’t give up, consistency over a long period of time is the only way to make long lasting changes for your health.
In order to achieve extreme weight loss (100+ lbs) I truly believe it’s necessary to completely change the way you think.
You have to make a conscious effort every day to work on your addiction to food.
I still struggle with my food addiction and binge eating but, I quit making excuses for myself. I stopped telling myself that it was okay to give into my addiction. I stopped telling myself it was okay if I kept getting bigger. I stopped telling myself that I was destined to be overweight. Change your thinking and I guarantee your body will change with it.
We all have what it takes, don’t sell yourself short. No excuses; get what you want!
